Kia ora to New Zealand’s South Island
An expression of my love to the most beautiful natural place my eyes have ever seen. An unexpected stop with dozens of waterfalls along the road on the way to Milford Sound on New Zealand's South Island.
Chicago. The first place that really felt like home.
Retracing old steps in Chicago this week has forced me to traverse bittersweet nostalgia. I wasn’t excited to move here years ago, but now this city means so much to me. It brought back waves of memories of times spent and growth experienced. It also brought a sense of desperate longing to pause time.
Who dat? It’s New Orleans and it’s amazing.

Officially kicking this off with these glazed orange scones from My Baking Addiction!
Scones are delightfully unassuming and they don’t get the attention they deserve. Who’s with me?
